A Day of Collective Imagination: Envisioning the Circular City of Tomorrow
|Date||November 20, 2023|
|Time||9:30 – 16:00|
Have you ever imagined what it would be like to live in a world where we don’t harm the planet with our daily choices? A world where our lifestyle, cities, and designs support natural health? With new technologies, design principles, and policies, many cities are on the verge of transitioning to being circular, sustainable, and even regenerative. But what would it actually look and feel like as a citizen living in one of these future cities?
To help us with this transition, we desperately need new narratives and imaginaries to guide and inspire us on our path forward: as individuals, as organizations, as communities, as a collective, and as societies.
Join us for a day of collective imagination in a circular future!
Together with sustainable development collective Arup’s Foresight team, we invite you to explore the future of a circular tomorrow. During this full-day event, you will engage with and explore perspectives on circularity, cities, and how design, imagination, and alternative future scenarios can inform new strategic processes and open new conversations and actions across city stakeholders.
Through co-creation, design, fiction, storytelling, and collective imagination we’ll use design and futures to bring a circular tomorrow to life to explore and understand the change we need to make today.
The event is in English and will be held at Banegaarden, Copenhagen, on November 20 from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, followed by networking and drinks.
Seats are limited so we kindly ask you to register your interest as soon as possible. Registration closes on Monday, November 13.
Can’t get enough of design and innovation? We hear you. And we have you covered.
