The Nordic Circular Design Program - A game-changing program for forward-thinking Nordic companies

We’ve partnered with three Scandinavian organizations to bring to life this unique program for medium and large enterprises. In eight months, we’ll help the companies get ready for the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation

This project is a part of our theme
Green transition

The Nordic Circular Design Programme’s purpose is to prepare Nordic companies for the upcoming Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and ensure their competitiveness in the global circular transition.

Designed for industrial manufacturing companies, the program targets medium and large enterprises with dedicated R&D and design teams. Tailored content for company leaders (such as business development, R&D, innovation, or strategy directors) and product and service development professionals (e.g., designers, engineers, R&D managers) ensures alignment with strategic goals and circular design solutions.

Over eight months, this unique program coaches companies on circular business models and practical solutions, embedding circular design into processes and operations. It culminates in concrete circular business goals and product/service concepts, with public content to inspire wider interest in circular design and business development. The program also offers excellent networking opportunities with participating companies across the Nordics.

Program partners

Co-financed by Nordic Innovation, this program is proudly presented by four leading circular economy organizations from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Together, these organizations combine their skills and knowledge to advance the circular design agenda across the Nordic region:
